It is like when you step in a public toilet that smells like shit. You have no other option so you bear with it. Now there might be a ventilation or hidden window or whatever the fuck that is to take out the smell of shit. You are not bothered anymore but you never know if the shit smell is gone or if you are in a place that others would know how shitty it is but you have just got used to it.
